SESSION 1: Dreams... Who do you want to be? If you were the star of your own movie, what would your movie be about? This session focuses on helping clients increase their vision for the future and begin clarifying goals.
SESSION 2: “Who am I?” Defining yourself- be honest!
SESSION 3: “Who’s in Charge of your life?” Don’t be a victim!
Are you just along for the ride? Drive your own car!
SESSION 4:

“I’m in Charge!”
ABC’s of Thinking - how your thinking affects who you are, what you do, and how you feel!
Personal Responsibility/Importance of perception

SESSION 5:

What matters to you? What’s really important?
Values clarification. Are you living your values?

SESSION 6:

If you’re happy and you know it…
What is “happiness”? Is it possible to be happy all the time?

SESSION 7:

Tough on the Inside.
You can handle whatever comes your way. Find purpose in your pain/take appropriate risks.
Begin talking about boundaries…

SESSION 8:

My name is Coral, not Convenient!
What is “respect?” How do you gain other people’s respect?
Assertiveness training. Also address personal space and boundaries.
Don’t give your power away - Keep your personal power!

SESSION 9:

Looking for Love in all the Wrong Places…
Choosing appropriate relationships. Friendships & significant others: who do you surround yourself with? Do they bring you up? Or down? Do they have your best interest at heart? Are you sacrificing yourself? Your values? What is the “ideal relationship”? What works/what doesn’t?

SESSION 10:

Happy by yourself, for yourself, and with yourself.
You are enough! How important are you? The most important relationship you will ever have is the relationship you have with yourself. BYOBF (Be Your Own Best Friend!) Value, love, and respect yourself. If you do, others will too!

SESSION 11:

Taking Care of You – Your perfect balance.
Define important areas of life – finding balance. Physical health: exercise, nutrition, drugs, cigarettes, sexual choices; Mental/Emotional health: stress, relaxation, etc.; Social health: relationships, etc…

 SESSION 12: GOING PLACES!
Review and pull it all together.
Poems, songs, flowers.

Scrapbooking can be utilized as a tool for active learning among participants. Each session, participants are asked to scrapbook on that day’s topic.
